To all parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh,
Western PA has its very own Catholic Camp! We believe that young people need a safe and beautiful place that feels like home, encourages them to know and be themselves, and calls them to the adventure of a lifetime, namely, friendship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to discipleship, evangelization, and leadership. That’s why we do summer camp. In just three years we’ve seen the Lord use OLMC to impact hundreds of young people and can’t wait to see Him do it again this summer.
To that end, we have both tiered pricing and scholarships available. Being on the front lines, we are asking for your help connecting to those who most need it (an experience of Christ, and the scholarships). Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (OLMC) Camp & Retreat Center owned and operated by Dry Bones Ministries is gearing up for 6 weeks of summer camp with programs for kids ranging from 1st through 12th grade and family camp. Ropes course elements, rock climbing, paddle boarding, white-water adventures, log rolling, archery, creek stomping, axe throwing, campfires, arts and crafts, nature hikes, Mass, and bible lessons are all part of the OLMC experience.
